From Osaka
From Shin-Osaka station, take the Shinkansen to Nagoya, about 1 hour.
Transfer to the JR Chuo West line, riding to Matsumoto station on the limited express, about 2 hours.
Then transfer to the JR Oito line, taking the rapid train to Shinano Omachi station, about 40 minutes.
From there, take a taxi to the hotel, a 15-minute ride.
From Tokyo
Get on the JR Chuo East line, taking the limited express to Matsumoto station, about 2 hours, 40 minutes. Alternatively, take the JR Chuo West line, riding to Matsumoto station on the limited express, about 2 hours.
At Matsumoto station, transfer to the JR Oito line, taking the rapid train to Shinano Omachi station, about 40 minutes.
From there, take a taxi to the hotel, a 15-minute ride.
From Matsumoto Airport
Take the airport limousine bus to the Matsumoto bus terminal, about 25 minutes.
From there, walk to JR Matsumoto station (about 3 minutes) and board the JR Oito line rapid train to Shinano Omachi station, about 40 minutes.
From there, take a taxi to the hotel, a 15-minute ride.
The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route – mountain sightseeing
This scenic route provides unparalleled views of the Northern Japanese Alps through the seasons, a journey showing nature in all its glory and grandeur with breathtaking panoramas. Accessible by a series of trolleys, trams, hikes, buses and funiculars (tram-like trains), the highlight of the trip is the Kurobe dam.
Hinatayama Plateau (Kogen) Golf Course
Directly adjacent to the Kuroyon Royal Hotel, the Hinatayama Plateau Golf Course features nine holes (with double tees) threading their way through greens lined with red pines and white birches. Teeing off with your club swinging out toward the Japanese Alps is an experience you’ll never forget.
Skiing
Skiing is of course another one of the great attraction of the Northern Japanese Alps. A wide range of ski slopes await you with their silvery white snow. The Tugaike Plateau (Kogen) ski resort in Otani village is 50 minutes by car from the hotel.
